Fluffy sponge cake: the inside will surprise you!

The method used for this cake is just amazing!

INGREDIENTS
250g (2 cups) flour (all purpose)
8g baking powder
5 eggs
200g (1 cup) sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
salt
100ml (0.4 cup) oil
100ml (0.4 cup) milk
50g ground almonds
1/4 tsp turmeric
3 tbsp cocoa
 
Powdered sugar for decoration
 
METHOD
  1. Mix 150g flour with baking powder and turmeric. Separate the yolks from the whites. Add vanilla sugar and 100 g of sugar to the yolks. Beat. Add 50ml oil, 50ml milk. Beat. Add flour. Mix.
  2. Add salt and 100 g of sugar to the whites. Beat. Put the whipped egg whites into the yellow dough. Mix. Add a mixture of flour and almonds, butter, milk to the remaining proteins. Mix.
  3. Grease the form with butter. Put half of the yellow dough into a mold and sprinkle with one tablespoon of cocoa. Spread out ½ of the white dough and sprinkle with cocoa. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes at 180 ° C / 350 ° F.
