Raisin Brioche Bread

This is the kind of breakfast bread you'd be excited to get out of bed for.
INGREDIENTS

250ml (1 cup) Milk
1 Egg
7g (1 1/2 tsp) Dry yeast
50g (1/4 cup) Sugar
400g (3 cups) Flour
4g (1 tsp) Salt
40g (1/4 cup) Butter
150g (1 1/2 cup) Raisin
1 Egg yolk
5ml (1 tbsp) Milk
Oil
METHOD
- In a bowl pour the milk and add egg, dry yeast, sugar and mix it. Add flour and salt. Mix it well until the dough is formed. Knead the dough and cover for 20 minutes.
- Add butter and knead it well. Form a ball from it and place it to an oiled bowl. Cover it for 1 hour.
- Add raisin to the dough and knead it a little more. Divide the dough into 3 parts and spread each of them. Fill with more raisin and roll it. Do the same for the other 2 parts.
- Make a braid out of them and place them in a pan. Cover for 30 minutes until it rises.
- Prepare the egg wash and coat the braid with it. Bake at 180C for 30-35 minutes. Serve.
