Apple Roses

Ingredients for 6 roses:4 apples, cored and halved (leave the skin on)
Juice from 1/2 lemon
3 Tbsp fruit preserves
2 Tbsp water
1 sheet of puff pastry
Cinnamon 1/2 tbsp (1 rose)
sugar powder (to taste)
Preparation :
Preheat oven to 375Β°F/190Β°C. Put apple sliced in microwave safe bowl.
Fill bowl with water and lemon juice. Microwave for 3 minutes.
Flour your board and roll out the puff pastry. Make 6 strips with a knife.
Add water and fruit preserve in a bowl. Then spoon out the preserves in the center of the strip of puff pastry.
Place the apple sliced long ways halfway on the strip until the end. Strew with cinnamon powder.
Then fold the puff pastry over the bottom of the apple sliced.
Roll up the puff pastry then place in greased muffin tin.
Bake for 35-45 minutes.
Pull out of oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with sugar powder.
Enjoy!
