Apple cake with custard: a perfect addition for a unique flavor

Ingredients:
250g all-purpose flour
6 apples
150g sugar
50g sunflower oil
3 eggs
1 glass milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Custard:
500g whole milk
40g all-purpose flour
100g sugar
Grated peel of 1/2 lemon
2 eggs
250g all-purpose flour

40g all-purpose flour

Grated peel of 1/2 lemon

Directions:
Custard: in a saucepan, mix sugar, flour, lemon peel and eggs. Then heat the milk with the vanilla etract. Combine the two mixtures and let thicken.
Batter: you can prepare it in any food processor, beat eggs and sugar and then add the other ingredients (apart from the apples). Dice the apples and mix in the dough. Pour half into a baking pan, then add the custard and cover with the rest of the dough. Bake at 180°C (360°F) for 30 minutes (static and preheated).
