EGG-FREE BROWNIES: light but super delicious!

INGREDIENTS (20x25cm pan)
250g dark chocolate
150ml (2/3 cup) milk
200g (1 2/3 cups) all-purpose flour
20g (2 tbsp) cornstarch
A pinch of salt
120g (1/2 cup) butter
230g (1 cup + 2 1/3 tbsp) sugar
50g (1/2 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
70g chocolate chips
METHOD
1. In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
2. Stir with a spoon until evenly mixed.
3. Pour the milk and sugar into a small saucepan, place over the heat, and warm while stirring until just below boiling. Let cool slightly.
4. In another saucepan, add the chopped dark chocolate and butter. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
5. Transfer the chocolate and butter mixture to a large bowl and gradually add the milk mixture, stirring with a spoon.
6. Add the dry ingredients and mix until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous batter.
7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
8. Pour and level the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
9. Bake at 180 °C / 350 °F for about 25 minutes. Let cool completely.
10. Cut the brownies using a cutting board and a knife.
