Spinach and ricotta flower pastry: appetizing and delicious!

An incredible method to make an original savory cake in no-time!
INGREDIENTS
2 rolls of ready-made puff pastry
200 g of spinach
150 g of ricotta cheese
50 g of grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
salt and pepper
1 yolk and cream to taste (or milk) for brushing.
METHOD
- Make the filling by cooking spinach in a pan, then blending in a bowl with ricotta cheese and parmesan cheese. Add an egg, salt, and pepper and mix well to combine.
- Roll out a roll of puff pastry on a baking sheet. Spread the filling on the pastry leaving the edge free.
- Roll out the other roll of puff pastry. Make 8 cuts at the same distance without reaching the edge or even the center; pinch the dough from one cut to another.
- You can put the molded sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes to simplify the transfer to the other sheet.
- Once positioned on top of the stuffed pastry, pinch the edge to seal it well.
- Beat the egg yolk and add the cream or milk and use it to brush the surface.
- Bake at 180°C for about 20/25 minutes (until it is swollen and has a nice color).
- Serve and enjoy!
