Apple pie with almond flour: the tasty and fluffy idea for your dessert time!

Not your usual apple cake! Give it a try.

INGREDIENTS
250g (1 2/3 cup) of flour 00
100g (1 cup) powdered sugar
125g (1/3 cup + 2 tbsp) of butter
a pinch of salt
1 egg

For the cream:
3 eggs
60g (1/3 cup) of sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
40g (1/4 cup) almond flour
200ml (3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) whipping cream

2 apples
Sliced ​​almonds
Powdered sugar for decoration

METHOD
  1. In a bowl sift the flour and powdered sugar and mix well.
  2. Add the butter and combine well with hands.
  3. Add the egg and salt and make the batter with your hands. Cover with foil and leave in the fridge for 60 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough, put it on parchment paper and add to the mold.
  5. In another bowl mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, almond flour, whipping cream and mix well.
  6. Cut the apples into slices and align them on top of the batter.
  7. Pour the mixture over the batter and add the almond slices.
  8. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 35 minutes.
  9. Decorate with powdered sugar.
