Apple chiffon cake: the american way to surpise your guests!

How to make the fluffiest apple cake ever!

INGREDIENTS
 5 eggs, separated;
 200g (1 ½ cup) all-purpose flour;
 150g (⅔ cup) sugar;
 80g (⅓ cup) butter, melted;
 100ml (⅓ cup+2 tbsp) apple juice;
 2 apples, sliced;
 16g (1 tbsp) baking powder;
 Powdered sugar for serving.
 
METHOD
  1.  Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale, add melted butter and apple juice.
  2.  In a separate bowl whisk flour with baking powder.
  3.  Add dry ingredients into the liquids and mix to combine.
  4.  Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5.  Fold them in and pour the batter into a 16 cm baking pal. Top with apple slices.
  6.  Bake at 160C/320F for 1 hour. Let cool down before slicing and dust with powdered sugar.
