Apple chiffon cake: the american way to surpise your guests!

How to make the fluffiest apple cake ever!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
5 eggs, separated;
200g (1 ½ cup) all-purpose flour;
150g (⅔ cup) sugar;
80g (⅓ cup) butter, melted;
100ml (⅓ cup+2 tbsp) apple juice;
2 apples, sliced;
16g (1 tbsp) baking powder;
Powdered sugar for serving.
METHOD
- Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale, add melted butter and apple juice.
- In a separate bowl whisk flour with baking powder.
- Add dry ingredients into the liquids and mix to combine.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Fold them in and pour the batter into a 16 cm baking pal. Top with apple slices.
- Bake at 160C/320F for 1 hour. Let cool down before slicing and dust with powdered sugar.
