Lorenzo, the autistic guy who challenges quarantine with a smile thanks to his love for cooking
published on 24 April, 2020 at 11:57
He challenges isolation with love for cooking. That’s how Lorenzo, a 25-year-old guy with autism, is inspiring Italy. And although it was not easy for his Mum Laura to accept that disability, over the years Lorenzo has made her ordinary life "special". Despite these difficult days, his joy of living knows no limits. Lorenzo can’t play tennis, swim, ride a horse as he was used to before the Coronavirus emergency, but his free heart always finds a way out, even within the walls of his home. Most of all, he always finds a way to make his family smile. Locked at home, Lorenzo has found the best recipe to face the dark moment and overcome it. Every time he delves into cooking, he expresses those emotions that he can’t communicate in words. Today Lorenzo, also thanks to the strength and determination of his mother Laura, despite his disability, has become an example for everyone.
