CARAMELIZED RED ONIONS: the easy recipe for the best result ever 😋

INGREDIENTS:
4 red onions
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
50 ml of balsamic vinegar
butter
salt to taste
PREPARATION:
1. Start by peeling the red onions and cutting them into thin slices.
2. In a large skillet, melt a knob of butter over medium heat.
3. Add the onions and let them cook slowly for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to get soft.
4. Once softened, add a tablespoon of brown sugar and stir well to melt it.
5. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and continue to cook over low heat until the onions have caramelized and have a deep, glossy color.
6. Adjust the salt and the onions will be ready to be served and enjoyed!
