How to shop in the coronavirus age: tips to safely shop and protect yourself

Keep a space of 6 feet between you and other people at grocery stores and wait your turn outside if you notice too many people in the shop. Use gloves without forgetting that you must wear them to touch fresh foods such as fruits and vegetables, proper hand washing is essential after using them, don’t touch your eyes, nose and mouth while wearing them, remove the gloves from inside out and place them in a recycling bin. You don’t have to panic buy. Shop rationally without stocking up on too much food. Make an organized grocery shopping list, without forgetting hygiene products so as to make sure you don't have to go out again after a few days. The possibility that the virus is transmitted through the sole of the shoes is very low, whenever you come home, leave your shoes at the door
and put your keys and wallet in a basket at the entrance. Before emptying your shopping bags, wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds, following the WHO guidelines on hand hygiene.
As fuits and vegetables are foods that are often eaten raw, wash them very well to eliminate any kind of contamination. It is not yet clear how long the virus can resist on different surfaces but ISS recommends disinfecting the packaging of products with chlorine and alcohol. Taking off your clothes and setting them aside once you come home using different clothes when we are at home.
