Chocolate and pear cake recipe: you'll fall in love with this version!

This indulgent chocolate and pear cake is a delicacy you must try right now!
INGREDIENTS
For the pears:
4 pears;
100 g (3.5 oz) almond flour;
75 g (7.6 oz) powdered sugar;
10 g (0.3 oz) walnuts, chopped.
For the cake:
120 g (4 oz) sugar;
2 eggs;
120 g (4 oz) flour;
60 g (2 oz) cocoa powder;
1/3 cup vegetable oil;
1/3 cup flour;
60 g (2 oz) walnuts, chopped;
1 tsp baking powder;
½ cup milk;
½ cup caramel sauce.
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
- Core each pear and remove some of the insides to make space for the filling.
- For the pear, filling combine almond flour with powdered sugar and chopped walnuts. Fill each pear, pressing everything tightly together.
- For the cake whisk eggs and sugar, add oil and water into the mixture, then start putting in all of the dry ingredients: cocoa, flour, baking powder, and walnuts. When the batter is ready, thin it out using some milk.
- Place pears into a round spring-form cut side down, pour the chocolate batter around and place it into the oven for 40 minutes.
- Top with caramel sauce and more walnuts before serving.
