How to cook chestnuts with salt: the perfect method

There are many recipe to prepare with chestnuts, but can you really cook them? Here is a quick way to make it.
Wash the chestnuts and dry them well, then cut them on the curved side.
Pour 1 kg of coarse salt in a pan or saucepan, let it warm up for 5 minutes. Then put the chestnuts on the salt on the flat side and cook, covered, for about 20 minutes. Then turn them on the opposite side and cook for another 30 minutes.
