Perfect Yeast Doughnuts: the easiest way to satisfy your dessert cravings!

INGREDIENTS
 275 g (9.7 oz) flour;
 1 egg;
 1/3 cup warm milk;
 13 g (0.4 oz) fresh yeast;
 1 tsp vanilla powder;
 1 orange (zest);
 ½ orange (juice);
 3 tbsp sugar+for serving;
 3 tbsp butter (soft).
 
METHOD
  1.  Dissolve a pinch of sugar in warm milk and add yeast in. Set aside until activated (foam forms on the surface).
  2.  Separately whisk the egg with leftover sugar, vanilla powder, orange zest, and juice. Add yeast solution.
  3.  Start adding flour into the liquids in portions and then add soft butter, combining everything with a spoon and then by hands.
  4.  Knead the dough until smooth, cover and set aside for an hour or until doubles in size.
  5.  Roll out the dough and use two circle cookie cutters to cut out the doughnuts.
  6.  Set the doughnuts aside for 15 minutes to puff up a little more, then fry for 2-3 minutes, until golden on both sides.
  7.  Cover with sugar immediately after removing from the oil, then serve.
