Easy madeleine recipe with chocolate chips: you won't buy them anymore!

Little cakes that are light and quite spongy, you must try them! A tradition french recipe easy to make at home!
INGREDIENTS

• 125g butter
• 125g sugar
• 150g flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tbsp milk
• 5-6 drops almond flavor
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1 lemon zest
• 50g chocolate chips
METHOD
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool slightly. Beat the eggs with sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- till stirring, add the flour with baking powder, stir. Add butter, milk, almond flavor and grated lemon zest. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 3 hours.
- Grease the baking form. Add the dough into the mold. Add chocolate chips to the remaining dough and refrigerate. Bake at 220°C/430°F for 4 minutes, lower to 180°C/350°F and continue bake for another 5-6 minutes, until the shells become golden. Remove from the oven, immediately remove from the mold and let it cool.
- Fill the dough with chocolate drops and bake again.
