4 simple tips to keep basil fresh longer

Basil is among the most widely used aromatic herbs in the kitchen. Here are four tips to keep it always fresh and within reach.
1. Cover your plant with a food bag
2. Wrap the basil in paper towel, put it in a plastic bag and in the fridge
3. Wash and dry the leaves only and place them in a container, then keep in the fridge.
4. Mix the basil leaves in the food processor with a little olive oil and freeze in the ice cube tray.
