Use these 4 hacks to keep your lemons fresh for longer!
When you cut a lemon in half the unused part usually ends up rotting.
With a large toothpick, make a hole in the blossom end. This way you can squeeze the juice, without cutting the lemon in half and the inside will keep fresh.
To store whole lemons, place them in a bowl of water, cover them with cling wrap, and put them in the fridge or put the lemons in plastic produce bags, making sure to let out as much air as possible before closing them. Finally, store them in the fridge.
If you cut the lemon in half, you can use toothpicks to hold it together, so the halves won’t dry out!
With these tips your lemons will stay fresh longer!
