Pumpkin ribbons: the best fried brioche ever!

INGREDIENTS
400g boiled pumpkin
30ml (0.15 cup) oil
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
950g (7.6 cups) flour (all purpose)
10g dry yeast
METHOD
- Boil the pumpkin. Mash. Add oil, egg, sugar, salt, yeast and flour. Knead the dough.
- Let rise for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into portions and form into balls.
- Form a flower from each ball. Deep-fry. Sprinkle the finished pumpkin flowers with sugar.
