Mosquitoes are coming: two natural methods to keep them away
published on 19 June, 2018 at 14:17
Summer is coming and with it also mosquitoes. Here are two natural ways to keep them away.
Method 1:
1 plastic bottle
water
50 gr brown or white sugar
2/3 tsp of fresh or dry brewer's yeast
Method 2:
Soluble coffee
1 match
Aluminum paper
Preparation:
Cut the bottle and turn the top upside down and put it in the bottom part. Boil the water (the right amount to make sure that the spout does not touch it) and dissolve the sugar. Let it cool and add the yeast. Block the bottle with adhesive tape and place it in the affected areas.
Put coffee on an aluminum sheet of paper and use a match to "turn it on". The smell should keep mosquitoes away. To turn it off quickly, cover it with a glass jar.
