Nuggets: crunchy and ready in no time!

You won't be able to stop at one!

INGREDIENTS
500g (3 1/3 cups) potatoes, cooked
9g (1 1/2 tsp) salt
60g butter, softened
30ml (2 tbsp) milk
Flour
1 egg, lightly beaten
Breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil (for frying)

METHOD
  1. In a bowl mash cooked potatoes with milk, butter and salt until creamy.
  2. Transfer creamed potatoes into the piping bag without a nozzle.
  3. Line a freezer-safe airtight container with plastic wrap. Pipe long-shaped pieces of potatoes into the container. Secure with a lid and freeze for 2 hours.
  4. Cut each potato stick into 4-5 pieces.
  5. Set up a breading station and coat each potato piece in flour, then dip in beaten egg and then coat in breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry nuggets in the preheated oil until lightly golden.
  7. Serve immediately.
