Pistachio bombs: a tasty and creamy dessert to die for!

INGREDIENTI
20 g (0.7 oz) sugar;
7 g (0.2 oz) dry yeast;
2/3 cup warm milk;
260 g (9 oz flour);
½ tsp ground cardamom;
30 g (1 oz) sour cream;
1 tbsp vegetable oil;
200 g (7 oz) sugar;
120 ml (1/2 cup) water;
2 cardamom pods;
chopped pistachios;
pistachio ice cream.
METHOD
- Add sugar and yeast into a bowl of warm milk. Set aside until foamy.
- Add oil, cardamom, sour cream and whisk. Combine liquids with flour and set aside for 1 hour.
- Scoop the dough with an ice cream scooper and transfer straight into the oil.
- Cook the donuts over the low heat for 6-8 minutes, until deep golden in color and cooked through.
- To make syrup boil sugar and water with crushed cardamom pods. Transfer cooked donuts straight into the syrup and make sure that they are covered in it completely.
- Slice each donut in half, add a layer of pistachio ice cream and roll each donut in chopped pistachios.
