Pistachio bombs: a tasty and creamy dessert to die for!

INGREDIENTI
 20 g (0.7 oz) sugar;
 7 g (0.2 oz) dry yeast;
 2/3 cup warm milk;
 260 g (9 oz flour);
 ½ tsp ground cardamom;
 30 g (1 oz) sour cream;
 1 tbsp vegetable oil;
 200 g (7 oz) sugar;
 120 ml (1/2 cup) water;
 2 cardamom pods;
 chopped pistachios;
 pistachio ice cream.
 
METHOD
  1.  Add sugar and yeast into a bowl of warm milk. Set aside until foamy.
  2.  Add oil, cardamom, sour cream and whisk. Combine liquids with flour and set aside for 1 hour.
  3.  Scoop the dough with an ice cream scooper and transfer straight into the oil.
  4.  Cook the donuts over the low heat for 6-8 minutes, until deep golden in color and cooked through.
  5.  To make syrup boil sugar and water with crushed cardamom pods. Transfer cooked donuts straight into the syrup and make sure that they are covered in it completely.
  6.  Slice each donut in half, add a layer of pistachio ice cream and roll each donut in chopped pistachios.
