How to store cherries and keep them fresh longer

With spring come the cherries that are delicious.
Here is a simple step to take to keep them fresh for longer.
Rinse them well and then put them in a bowl, fill the sink with cold water and ice. Place the bowl for a few minutes and then store the cherries in the fridge.
