Are you sure you know what to store in the fridge and what not? Let's clear up some doubts!
1. Tomatoes should be stored at room temperature because they might lose their flavor. However, if they are very ripe, it's okay to store them in the fridge.
2. Jams should be kept in the fridge and consumed within 2 weeks.
3. Onions, if kept outside the fridge, will last longer.
4. To prevemt bananas turning black, it's better to keep them out of the fridge.
5. Potatoes should be stored outside the fridge, as the cold hardens them and makes them sprout faster.
