Apple Charlotte: No-Bake, Yummy Dessert

Ingredients:
Brioche bread
4 big apples
30g butter
30g sugar
Filling:

Filling:
400g milk
70g butter
1 yolk
80 g sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Filling: Heat the milk and add the yolk mixed with sugar, add the starch and let thicken for a few minutes. Allow it to cool in a bowl.
Cook the apples with butter and sugar over low heat.
You will need a cast iron casserole (or a 18 cm diameter charlotte mold), then slice the bread and place it on the bottom and on the edges of the pan. Fill with cream, apples and strips of brioche bread (let them brown in a pan with butter and sugar if you want). Finally seal in a final layer of pan brioche and place in the fridge with the lid for at least 4 hours.
