Cherry strudel: tasty and easy to make

Ingredients:
1 roll of puff pastry
Cherries in syrup
almonds
Powdered sugar
1 egg
Sugar to cover
Directions:
Roll out the puff pastry and fill it with the cherries, close the roll by lining it with the help of the beaten egg. Put the strudel in a pan lined with parchment paper and make sure it is well closed. Brush the yolk and cover with granulated sugar and almonds. Bake at 180°C (360°F) for 20 minutes.
