Peel potatoes but don't throw away the peels: reuse them in a useful way

What to do with potato peelings? A simple but very useful way to recycle and reuse them after peeling vegetables. Heat the water in a saucepan, bring it to a boil and put the peels inside: boil for about an hour and then use the liquid (which will be rich in potassium) to water your garden or vegetable plants, if you have any.
