Parisian flan

Ingredients
½ liter of milk
125 g fresh cream
125 g of caster sugar
6 egg yolks
50 grams of corn flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
Bring cream and milk to the boil with the vanilla extract.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar and corn flour.
Mix together milk and egg yolk mixture and bring it back to medium fire. Stir till it gets thick.
Put the cream in a dish, cover with plastic wrap and let it cool.
When cream has cooled, stir it again and pour into a circular pan of 18-21 cm and bake at 180°C (350°C) for 35 minutes.
