BUTTER COOKIES: so SIMPLE to make but so GOOD! 😋

INGREDIENTS
220g (1 cup) of butter
100g (1/2 cup) of sugar
a pinch of salt
1 egg
350g (3 cups) of all-purpose flour
Butter for brushing
Sugar for coating
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the butter, sugar, and salt and mix until sugar dissolves. Add the egg and flour and continue with mixing. When the dough starts to form knead the dough to obtain compact dough.
2. Split the dough into three equal parts and roll out each part. Brush the surface of the three rolls with melted butter and roll each one in a tray with sugar. Transfer to the fridge for 40 minutes.
3. After time has elapsed cut the rolls into 1cm thick biscuits. Transfer them to the baking tray covered with parchment paper.
4. Bake cookies in the oven at 180°C/360°F for 14 minutes. Serve them all together on a serving dish after baking.
