Chocolate almonds: the secret to making them even tastier!

INGREDIENTS
100 g (3/4 cup) almonds
20 g (2 tbsp) powdered sugar
90g chocolate, melted
5 g (1 tsp) spice mix (cinnamon + nutmeg)
15ml (1 tbsp) vanilla extract
80 g (8 tbsp) powdered sugar
10 g (1 tbsp) cocoa powder

METHOD
  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C/320°F.
  2. Put almonds on the baking tray, sprinkle with 2 tbsp of powdered sugar and mix to coat. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl melt chocolate, add vanilla extract, and spice mix. Stir until smooth.
  4. Transfer baked almonds into a bowl or a pan, pour chocolate sauce over and mix well.
  5. Sprinkle some icing sugar on the bottom of the food container, transfer almonds, and the sauce, and add the remaining powdered sugar. Close the box with a lid and shake for 30-40 seconds. Let's sit for 30 minutes.
  6. Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder into a small bowl and coat some almonds in it.
