Chocolate almonds: the secret to making them even tastier!

INGREDIENTS
100 g (3/4 cup) almonds
20 g (2 tbsp) powdered sugar
90g chocolate, melted
5 g (1 tsp) spice mix (cinnamon + nutmeg)
15ml (1 tbsp) vanilla extract
80 g (8 tbsp) powdered sugar
10 g (1 tbsp) cocoa powder
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 160°C/320°F.
- Put almonds on the baking tray, sprinkle with 2 tbsp of powdered sugar and mix to coat. Bake for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl melt chocolate, add vanilla extract, and spice mix. Stir until smooth.
- Transfer baked almonds into a bowl or a pan, pour chocolate sauce over and mix well.
- Sprinkle some icing sugar on the bottom of the food container, transfer almonds, and the sauce, and add the remaining powdered sugar. Close the box with a lid and shake for 30-40 seconds. Let's sit for 30 minutes.
- Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder into a small bowl and coat some almonds in it.
