Apple pie: the creamy and inviting French recipe!

INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
300g (2 1/2 cups) of all-purpose flour
100g (1/2 cup) of sugar
A pinch of salt
1 lemon (zest)
200g (1 cup) of butter
1 egg
For the cream:
4 egg yolks
8g (3/4 tbsp) of vanilla sugar
130g (3/4 cup) of sugar
100g (3/4 cup) of cornstarch
1l (4 cups) of milk
For the apple sauce:
2 apples
30g (2 tbsp) of butter
15g (2 tbsp) of powdered sugar
Cinnamon
Powdered sugar
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the flour, sugar, salt, lemon (zest), and butter and mix with the hands until the butter dissolve.
2. Add the egg and continue mixing until the dough is obtained. Knead the dough until smooth.
3. Transfer the dough to the cake mold and stretch it well by raising the edges. Transfer to the fridge for 30 minutes.
4. In a bowl add the egg yolks, vanilla sugar, and sugar and whisk until the sugar dissolve. Add the cornstarch and mix.
5. Add the part of the milk to dissolve the mixture. Add the rest of the milk and whisk everything well.
6. Transfer the mixture to the pot and mix until the mixture thickens. Remove from the pot and let it cool.
7. Cut the apples into slices. In a pan add the butter, powdered sugar, and cinnamon and mix. Add the apples and mix until they become soft.
8. After time has elapsed remove the dough from the fridge and pour the apple mixture. Pour the cream and level it up with a spatula.
9. Close the edges and transfer the cake to the oven and bake at 170°C/338°F for 50 minutes.
10. After baking let the cake cool completely and decorate it with powdered sugar.
