Apple Pie Dessert Cups: a unique and delicious treat

For apple filling:
4 apples
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
50gr butter
½ cup water
1 pre-made pie crust

For whipped cream:
1 cup heavy cream1 tbsp caster sugar1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS
Melt the butter
Add in peeled and sliced apples, combine with flour, sugar, and cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Cook for 10 minutes until sugar dissolves
Add the water, cook the apples until soft.Remove from heat and let cool at room temperature.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Bake pie crust until edges turn golden brown.
Cool and then break into small bite-sized pieces.
Beat heavy cream, caster sugar and vanilla until peaks form.
Assemble: Place layers of each prepared ingredient with the following order:
1-Apple mixture
2- Followed by pie crust
3- Top with whipped cream
4- Sprinkle cinnamon
5- Caramel Sauce
- Enjoy!
