Ricotta magic cake: here’s a trick you have to try!

A simple white cake with magical filling! This dreamy dessert is a lightly sweet sponge cake with a creamy custard filling. 

INGREDIENTS
 750g ricotta
 4 eggs
 175g icing sugar
 85g chocolate chips
 1 orange zest
 
 
METHOD
  1.   Put the ricotta in a bowl (well dried), add the eggs and sugar and work with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2.   Add orange zest and chocolate chips, mix everything well and transfer onto a 22 cm baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180C/350F 1 hour 30 minutes.
