Chocolate Chip Ricotta Cake: a creamy dessert that is absolutely gorgeous!

Here you have a delicious cake made with the same ingredients as a cannoli. Come and make your very own ricotta chocolate chip cake!
INGREDIENTS

For the base:
• 125g flour
• 120g sugar
• 2 eggs
• 55g corn oil
• 65g milk
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp soda
For ricotta cream:
• 500g fresh ricotta
• 6 tbsp sugar
• 4 eggs
• 5 tbsp semolina
• chocolate drops
Powdered sugar
METHOD
- Let's start with the base. In a bowl, break two eggs, lightly beat them and add sugar. Beat, add milk
- Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda, mix well and add everything to the bowl, mixing well so that there are no lumps. If you prefer, you can also use an electric whisk. Lubricate the rectangular shape (20 X 26).
- Pour half the dough and bake at 180C/350F for 8 minutes.
- Prepare the cream, processing all the ingredients, except chocolate, which you add only at the end, just before you pour it on the base.
- Pour the cream onto the base of the already prepared cake, level it well with a spatula and finish pouring out the remaining cake dough, making sure that it covers all the cream.
- Bake at 180C/350F for 35 minutes.
- When the sweet, ricotta filled with cheese, cool, sprinkle it with powdered sugar, cut into cubes
