Peel potatoes but don't throw away the skins: reuse them in a smart way

What to do with potato peelings? This is a simple but very useful tip on how to recycle and reuse them after peeling the vegetables. Heat the water in a saucepan, bring it to a boil and put the skins inside: boil for about an hour and then use the liquid (which will be rich in potassium) to water your plants.
