OVEN-BAKED GRATIN ASPARAGUS: both in a classic version and with delicious pancetta!

INGREDIENTS
650g asparagus
50g (1/2 cup) breadcrumbs
50g (1/2 cup) Parmesan cheese
50g (1/4 cup) extra virgin olive oil
 
For the pancetta version:
12 slices of pancetta
 
For the regular version:
Extra virgin olive oil
 
METHOD
1. Wash the asparagus and trim the woody ends.
2. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and extra virgin olive oil. Mix until you get a crumbly texture.
3. For the pancetta version: wrap each asparagus stalk with a slice of pancetta, then transfer them to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the wrapped asparagus. Bake at 180°C/360°F for 15 minutes.
5. For the regular version: place the asparagus on a baking tray, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over them. Bake at 180°C/360°F for 15 minutes.
6. Serve both versions and enjoy!
