YOGURT COOKIES: soft and delicate in taste!

INGREDIENTS:
150g (2/3 cup) of plain yogurt
2 eggs
90g (1/2 cup) of sugar
80g (1/3 cup) of butter
400g (2 1/2 cups) of all-purpose flour
5g (1 tsp) of baking powder
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Zest of 1 orange
 
METHOD:
1. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, eggs, and sugar, and whisk with a hand whisk.
2. Add the vanilla extract and orange zest.
3. Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing with the whisk.
4. When the dough starts to resist, knead by hand until a smooth dough forms. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
5. Take the dough and form small balls, about 25g each. Make a hole in the center of each ball with the end of a spoon.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes. Let them cool and dust with powdered sugar.
