INGREDIENTS
160g of ricotta
100g + 60g of cooked ham
Salt
Pepper
110g + 110g of mozzarella
Dry oregano
Cherry tomatoes
Capers
Egg for egg wash
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the ricotta, cooked ham, salt, and pepper and mix to combine.
2. Unroll the puff pastry on a cutting board and place the bowl in the middle. Make 4 cuts to form a cross, then make another 4 cuts inside the 4 to obtain 8 in total.
3. Place ricotta and ham filling in each rectangle, then add diced mozzarella and sprinkle with dry oregano. Fold the two edges of each rectangle inward to form 8 points. Close them well.
4. Pour the rest of the filling in the middle to cover the whole inner part. Level it up with a spatula.
5. Add the remaining diced cooked ham and the remaining mozzarella in the middle. Add capers and sprinkle with dry oregano.
6. Brush the rectangles with the egg and transfer them to the oven. Bake at 200°C/392°F for 25 minutes.
7. Serve on a serving dish and enjoy.
