Hot milk cake: how to make it soft and spongy!

INGREDIENTS
4 eggs
250g (1 cup) sugar
350g (2 ½ cup) flour
10g (2 tsp) baking powder
80g (1/3 cup) butter
250ml (1 cup) milk
Vanilla
 
METHOD
  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
  2. Melt the butter in the milk and add the vanilla.
  3. Beat eggs with sugar. Gradually add the previously prepared mixtures and mix well.
  4. Pour into a baking tin and bake at 360°F/180°C for 35 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
