Sausage and cabbage rolls: an easy recipe for a tasty dinner!

 They are one of our favorite comfort food recipes and perfect for the cold fall and winter months.
 
INGREDIENTS
1 cabbage
Sausage
 
Sauce:
500ml (2 cups) milk
35g (1/4 cup) flour
Salt & pepper
Nutmeg
Cheese
 
METHOD
  1. Cut off the bottom end of a cabbage.
  2. Remove several leaves of cabbage and remove the stem. Place in a pot of boiling water for several minutes. Strain.
  3. Lay a cabbage leaf out flat. Cut the skin off the sausages and place it on top of each cabbage leaf. Close the cabbage into a roll.
  4. Mix milk, flour, salt, and nutmeg in a saucepan until thick. Pour some sauce onto a baking sheet.
  5. Arrange the rolls neatly. Add salt, pepper and pour the rest of the sauce on top, then top with
  6. grated cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
