How to make strawberry liqueur at home

A simple homemade strawberry liqueur recipe.
Fresh strawberries: For the amount remember that strawberries have to fill half of the jar we want to fill with our liqueur. So, wash them under running water and dry them well with paper towels or a cloth with a knife, remove the leaves and cut them in half. Never use plastic jars, use glass jars with an airtight seal instead.
Sugar syrup: the syrup is made with water and white sugar. Use the same amount of sugar and water (so if we use 500ml of water, we will have to add 500g of sugar). Grab a pot and add the water, put on the stove and bring to a boil, lower the heat, add the sugar and stir with a spoon until all the sugar has melted and there are no lumps. It is important to leave the syrup at room temperature.
Liquor: You can use either brandy or vodka, as long as it's white so that it can capture the strawberry red color.
Cinnamon stick: use 2 cinnamon sticks for 500ml of liquor

Step 4: close the jar, let it rest for a month to one and a half months (30 - 45 days), in a dry and dark place (occasionally shake it)
Step 5: Sift in a jar using a coffee, cloth or paper filter, put a sieve on top and sift the entire mixture
Step 6: mix in a jar or in any container the already sifted mixture with the sugar syrup, you must measure the same amount of the two, mix with a spoon to combine them
Step 7: Let it rest for a week before consuming it, even if it is already drinkable.

The best thing is that this liqueur has no expiration date.
