Banana moons: a delicious treat ready in no-time!

INGREDIENTS
Dough:
300g (2 cups) all purpose flour
40g (1/3 cup) sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
Oil
120ml (1/2 cup) Milk (you may need an extra 2-3 tbsp of milk)
40g melted butter
2 tbsp sugar
20g yeast
 
Filling:
1 large banana
300g cold heavy cream (1 cup + 1/4 cup)
2 tbsp sugar
 
Topping:
250g (2 cups) powdered sugar
75g butter
3-5 tbsp warm milk
1 tsp Vanilla

METHOD
  1. Mix warm milk with sugar and melted butter. In another bowl mix flour with spices, add in yeast mixture and eggs, leave the dough for the 1,5 hours.
  2. Roll out the dough and make moons, as many as you can. Leave them to rise for 20 minutes and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  3. In another bowl mix banana with heavy cream, vanilla and sugar until smooth. Fill the moons with banana cream. In another bowl mix powdered sugar with milk, butter and vanilla. Dip each moon into the mixture.
