Lemon Brownies: a fluffy and delicious dessert to share with your family

We believe when life gives you lemons, you should make... brownies! 🍋

INGREDIENTS

80g flour
130g sugar

1/4 tsp salt
180g butter
3 eggs
2 tbsp lemon juice
115g cream cheese
240g powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk
4 tbsp lemon zest

METHOD

Beat the butter. Add the sugar and beat again. Add the eggs one at a time, while whisking. Then add lemon juice, half of the lemon zest and mix. Add flour, salt, and mix again.
Pour into a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes at 180ºC (256ºF).
Beat the butter, add the cream cheese, and beat again. Add icing sugar and continue beating. Then add the milk and the rest of the lemon zest and keep mixing.
Spread over the cake once it is cold.
Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Sprinkle over more lemon zest to serve.
