How to keep vegetables fresh longer

Vegetables should be stored properly in the fridge or they could easily be damaged.
Carrots:
Peel them and cut them into strips or slices and store them in a container or a food bag. Remember to cover the base of the container with paper towels.
Salad, cauliflower, spinach and peppers:
Cut the salad and spinach into small tufts and the cauliflower and peppers into small pieces. Store in plastic containers, placing paper towel as a base.
