Tartiflette recipe: how to cook it perfect!

This is one of the best French Recipes to serve guests because it always makes a BIG impression!

Their eyes always widen when I bring it to the table as they exclaim “What is this thing of decadence?!”

INGREDIENTS
 1 kg (2 pounds) potatoes, boiled, peeled;
 4-5 stripes bacon, chopped;
 2 onions, sliced;
 120 ml (½ cup) chicken stock;
 200g (¾ cup) sour cream;
 1 head (400g) brie.
 A pinch of salt
 
METHOD
  1.  Preheat the oven to 190C/375F.
  2.  Use a little bit of olive oil to brown bacon. Add sliced onions and cook until translucent, then add chicken stock and continue cooking until brown and caramelized.
  3.  Slice cooked potatoes and use half of it to cover the baking pan. Add onion with bacon on top and cover with leftover potato slices.
  4.  Add an even layer of sour cream and top with sliced brie.
  5.  Bake at 190C/375F for 45 minutes.
