Tartiflette recipe: how to cook it perfect!

This is one of the best French Recipes to serve guests because it always makes a BIG impression!

INGREDIENTS
Their eyes always widen when I bring it to the table as they exclaim “What is this thing of decadence?!”
INGREDIENTS
1 kg (2 pounds) potatoes, boiled, peeled;
4-5 stripes bacon, chopped;
2 onions, sliced;
120 ml (½ cup) chicken stock;
200g (¾ cup) sour cream;
1 head (400g) brie.
A pinch of salt
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 190C/375F.
- Use a little bit of olive oil to brown bacon. Add sliced onions and cook until translucent, then add chicken stock and continue cooking until brown and caramelized.
- Slice cooked potatoes and use half of it to cover the baking pan. Add onion with bacon on top and cover with leftover potato slices.
- Add an even layer of sour cream and top with sliced brie.
- Bake at 190C/375F for 45 minutes.
