How to make pancake roses

Pancake roses

Ingredients/Materials:
• Flour
• Vegetable oil
• Baking powder
• Melted butter
• Jam
• Milk
• Sugar
• 1 straw
• Plastic bottle
• Frying pan
• Chopping board
• Knife

Method:
Using a funnel, put the flour, sugar, baking powder and milk in a bottle.
Screw on the lid and shake the bottle.
Open the bottle again and pour in the vegetable oil and butter, close and shake again.
Pour the mixture into a hot pan and try to expand it by moving the pan.
Wait until the edges are darker and flip the crepe.
Place the crepe on a chopping board and make a spiral using a knife.
Cut around 2 cm at the end of the straw, splitting it in two.
Put the large end of the crepe into the split and start rolling the crepe around the straw.
Roll the crepe until the rose if formed.
Pull out the straw and place the rose on a plate.
Decorate the roses with jam, icing sugar and mint leaves.
