Yogurt cake: tasty and fluffy, ready without yeast!

INGREDIENTS
5 eggs, separated
a pinch of salt
350g (1.4 cup) yogurt
45g (3 tbsp) sugar
5g (1 tsp) vanilla sugar
100g (0.8 cup) starch
Powdered sugar for sprinkling
 
METHOD
  1. Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until you bring a fine frothy mixture. Add yogurt, vanilla sugar, starch and continue to mix.
  2. Whisk the egg whites and a pinch of salt, then add to the previously prepared yogurt mixture.
  3. Line a baking tin (20 cm). Pour the mixture into the mold.
  4. Place in the oven at 170 ° C for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Leave the cake to cool in the open oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
