How to make your chicken meat tender and juicy

Chicken meat is a very simple yet popular meat. Besides, it can be cooked in different ways making it also very versatile.
However, its cooking can be risky since it can dry a lot during cooking time and it becomes hard and stringy once it's on the table.
Let's see how to avoid this problem with a few and simple steps.
1. Marinating: marinating meat allows you to season it, but also to keep it moist and tender. For the chicken the most common marinating technique is to use a sour component, such as lemon juice, and some fats like olive oil. Then you can season with the herbs and spices you like the most. For chicken, let the meat marinate for 2 to 4 hours before cooking.
2. Cooking methods: as mentioned before, chicken is versatile. In order to have tender meat in the oven it's advisable to use foil, while in the pan you can cook it by putting a lid on during the entire cooking time.
3. Aluminum foil: after cooking there's a very simple hack. Wrap chicken meat into aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. That way all the meat juices will say inside making it tasty and tender.
