Homemade MARZIPAN: the mix for your Christmas sweets! π

INGREDIENTS
250g peeled almonds
100g sugar
20g honey
30ml water
Powdered sugar to taste

METHOD
1. Pour the sugar, honey, and water into a saucepan, place on the stove, stirring continuously until completely dissolved, and leave to cool slightly.
2. Finely chop the almonds using a mixer.
3. Pour the chopped almonds and the now lukewarm syrup into a large bowl.
4. Mix with a spoon until you obtain a workable paste.
5. Transfer it to the work surface and continue kneading with the help of a handful of sifted powdered sugar, you should obtain a firm but workable dough.
