3 cabbage recipes for a quick and tasty dinner!

1) Creamy coleslaw salad
INGREDIENTS
• White cabbage
• Red cabbage
• Carrots
• Fresh parsley
• Mustard
• Apple vinegar
• Salt and pepper
• Celery seeds
• Corn
• Mayonnaise
METHOD

• Red cabbage
• Carrots
• Fresh parsley

METHOD
- Clean the two cabbages well. Cut them into thin strips and place in a bowl.
- Grate the carrot and add it to the cabbage. Then add corn and chopped parsley.
- Mix mayonnaise, mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper and celery seeds. Mix until you get a creamy
dressing. - Pour the dressing into the bowl and mix well.

2) Baked Cabbage
INGREDIENTS
• Cabbage
• Salt
• 1 tsp Paprika
• 1 tsp basil
• ½ rosemary
• 1 bay leaf
• 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
• Onion
METHOD

METHOD
- Cut pieces of cabbage. Place in a bowl.
- Add salt, paprika, basil, Rosemary, bay leaf, oil and mix.
- Pour the mixture into a baking tray and bake for 20 min at 180ºC (356ºF).
- Cut onion into cubes and fry.
- Add the onion to the cabbage, mix, cover with aluminum and bake for another 40 min at 180ºC (356ºF).

3) Cabbage Fritters
INGREDIENTS
• Cabbage
• 140g Flour
• 140ml Water
• Fresh Parsley
• 1 tsp coriander
• 1 tsp Turmeric
• 1 tsp paprika
• 2 tsp Dried onion
• 1/3 Pepper
• Salt

METHOD
- Cut thin strips of cabbage and place in a bowl.
- Mix flour, with coriander, paprika, salt, dried onion, pepper, turmeric and mixt.
- Add water little by little and continue mixing.
- Pour the mixture into the cabbage and mix very well.
- Add parsley and mix again.
- Place a tablespoon of mixture on a baking sheet. Repeat until you have several piles.
- Bake for 25 min at 180 °C (356).

4) Cabbage and ham salad
INGREDIENTS
1 small cabbage
4 cucumbers
1 can sweet corn (drain liquid)
8 oz ham
1/3 cup chopped green onions
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
METHOD

- Cut cabbage.
- Cut the cucumbers and ham into small cubes.
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Serve immediately.
