Puff pastry santa: a unique recipe that everyone will love!

INGREDIENTS
• Puff pastry (3 circles)
• Mozzarella pearls
• Tomato sauce
• Butter
• Garlic
• Grated mozzarella
• Black olives
• Egg yolk
• 1 egg
• Red food coloring
 
METHOD
  1. Cut the outline of Santa’s head in a circle of puff pastry.
  2. Add tomato sauce to the leftover pieces. Place a mozzarella ball and close the dough forming a ball.
  3. Melt butter, add a clove of crushed garlic and spread all around the puff pastry.
  4. Fill another pastry circle with grated cheese, fold in half and place it on the bottom of the puff pastry with butter.
  5. Cut strips vertically and twist them to form the beard.
  6. Cut a rectangle of puff pastry, cut strips horizontally at the ends of the sides, twist and put them down to form the mouth and mustache.
  7. Place a puff pastry strip in the upper part to form the hat. Fold the upper left end of the hat down and place a stuffed puff pastry ball in the hat and another in the center of the face to form the nose.
  8. Beat an egg and spread all over the Santa.
  9. Mix an egg yolk with red food coloring and paint the hat.
  10. Place two black olives for the eyes.
  11. Bake for 20 min at 180ºC (356ºF).
