Puff pastry santa: a unique recipe that everyone will love!

INGREDIENTS
• Puff pastry (3 circles)
• Mozzarella pearls
• Tomato sauce
• Butter
• Garlic
• Grated mozzarella
• Black olives
• Egg yolk
• 1 egg
• Red food coloring

METHOD
- Cut the outline of Santa’s head in a circle of puff pastry.
- Add tomato sauce to the leftover pieces. Place a mozzarella ball and close the dough forming a ball.
- Melt butter, add a clove of crushed garlic and spread all around the puff pastry.
- Fill another pastry circle with grated cheese, fold in half and place it on the bottom of the puff pastry with butter.
- Cut strips vertically and twist them to form the beard.
- Cut a rectangle of puff pastry, cut strips horizontally at the ends of the sides, twist and put them down to form the mouth and mustache.
- Place a puff pastry strip in the upper part to form the hat. Fold the upper left end of the hat down and place a stuffed puff pastry ball in the hat and another in the center of the face to form the nose.
- Beat an egg and spread all over the Santa.
- Mix an egg yolk with red food coloring and paint the hat.
- Place two black olives for the eyes.
- Bake for 20 min at 180ºC (356ºF).
